Every Electrical Enquiry, Captured While You’re On Site
Remy answers the phone and your website chat when you can’t — up a ladder, in a loft, or with the power off. It takes down what the caller describes, where the work is and when they need you, and helps book the job into your calendar where booking is set up for your business.
- Faults, sockets, lighting, rewires, EV chargers — captured as the caller describes them
- Domestic or commercial, the address and the timing, all in one summary
- Nothing diagnosed over the phone — the details reach you, the decision stays yours

Call → classify → capture → route
How an enquiry reaches you while you’re on site
Every enquiry follows the same path, whatever kind of job it is. Remy classifies it by what the caller describes — never by what it thinks is wrong — and routes it truthfully.
- 1
Call
Remy answers on your dedicated number with the power off and your hands in a board, and asks about the job before the caller’s details.
- 2
Classify
The enquiry is noted as the caller describes it — a fault, sockets, lighting, a rewire, a consumer unit, an EV charger, domestic or commercial when they say so. That is context for you, not a diagnosis.
- 3
Capture
The problem in the caller’s words, the address where the work is needed, a confirmed callback number, an email and the time they’d like — read back where it’s easy to mishear.
- 4
Route
Where the service is one your Knowledge Base lists and a time has been checked against your calendar, Remy submits a booking request after the call. Otherwise the enquiry is captured and flagged for your review — it never guesses whether you can take the job.
Remy doesn’t diagnose faults, certify work, decide what is safe, or send an electrician anywhere. A booking request is a request: the customer hears “look out for the confirmation email”, and the confirmation arrives only once the booking is actually made.

No Two Electrical Enquiries Are the Same Call
A homeowner with tripping sockets and a facilities manager pricing a fit-out ring the same number. Both need their enquiry taken down accurately — and both get voicemail while you’re on site.
Domestic
What homeowners tend to describe
- Half the sockets in the kitchen have stopped working”
- The landing light flickers and then goes off”
- The consumer unit keeps tripping — can someone look at it?”
- Can you fit an EV charger on the driveway?”
Commercial
What businesses and property managers tend to ask
- We need a quote for the electrics on a shop fit-out”
- Can you take on a maintenance contract for two units?”
- The office needs a rewire and a board upgrade before we move in”
- Are you available for out-of-hours commercial work?”
Different jobs, different questions, different follow-up — and every one of them arrives while you’re in a board with the power off. Whoever answers has to get the details right for you, not guess what the job is.
Evenings and weekends bring the urgent ones
A board that trips at 8pm or a shop with no power on a Saturday morning is the call that reaches nobody — and the customer who rings the next electrician.
Details get scribbled, then lost
Name, address, what’s tripping, domestic or commercial, when they’re there — written on the back of a test sheet, then typed up later or not at all.
The same questions interrupt every job
Do you fit EV chargers? Do you do rewires? Can you do a commercial job next week? Each one is a stop-and-start with a screwdriver in your hand.
What Remy does
The enquiry is captured as described, then the rest follows
Remy is the same AI receptionist on the phone and in your website chat. For an electrical business the order matters: get the enquiry down accurately and in context first, answer what can be answered, then get a time checked.
01
Captures the enquiry in the caller’s words
A tripping board, a dead socket, a flickering light, a rewire, a consumer-unit upgrade, an EV charger — Remy takes the job down as the caller describes it, plus whether it’s a home or a business premises when they say so, the address where the work is needed, their name, a confirmed callback number and an email. It records what was described; it doesn’t diagnose the fault.
02
Answers the questions you get asked every day
Do you fit EV chargers? Do you do rewires? Do you take commercial work? Remy answers from a Knowledge Base you write and edit — your services, prices, hours and policies — and never invents an answer or gives electrical advice. Anything it can’t answer confidently goes to you instead.
03
Answers while you’re on site
Remy picks up on a dedicated phone number set up for your business, whenever the call comes in — with the power off, up a ladder, in a loft. It asks about the job before it asks who’s calling, and clarifies a service it isn’t sure it heard.
04
Gets a time checked for the jobs you can book
Once the caller names a day and time, Remy checks it against your business hours and calendar, offers alternatives if that slot isn’t free, and submits a booking request after the call. The customer receives a confirmation email once the booking is actually made.
Booking applies to services listed in your Knowledge Base, and bookings sync to Google Calendar when your calendar is connected.
05
Every enquiry lands in one place
Every call and chat is saved as a lead in your dashboard, and you receive a summary of each call with the caller’s details, the enquiry and the transcript. Domestic or commercial, fault or fit-out, anything that needs a human is flagged for review and you’re notified.

What a typical call looks like
This is an illustration of how Remy is designed to handle a call, not a real transcript, and the customer is not a real person.
Customer
“Half the sockets in my kitchen have stopped working and the board keeps tripping. Can someone come out this week?”
Remy
- 1Asks what’s happening and notes the work in the caller’s own words — it doesn’t try to diagnose the fault.
- 2Takes the day and time they’d like, and checks it against your availability and booking rules.
- 3Collects their name, the address where the work is needed, a confirmed callback number and an email.
- 4Reads back the details, then explains that a booking request will be submitted and to look out for a confirmation email.
- 5Sends you a summary of the call with every detail in its own row.

Domestic and commercial, the jobs you’ll quote for and the ones you won’t, with your prices, hours and policies. Connect your calendar if you want booking requests in it. Remy only offers what you’ve listed.
03
Remy answers and captures the enquiry as described
Calls and website chats are answered while you’re on site. Remy takes what the caller says is happening — in their words — with their address and number, and flags it as urgent if they say it is. It doesn’t diagnose the fault.

Decide what’s yours from the dashboard
Enquiries, call summaries and booking requests are in one place, with anything outside your listed work flagged for review — so you decide what needs a visit and what doesn’t.
FAQ
Questions electricians ask about Remy
Can Remy answer calls while I’m on site?
Yes — you can’t take a call with a board open and the power off. Remy answers on a dedicated phone number set up for your business whenever a call comes in, takes the job details and customer details, and sends you a summary of the call — so you can read it when you’re back down the ladder.
Can Remy take details about an electrical fault?
Yes — in the caller’s own words. Remy asks what’s happening, notes it as described, collects their name, address and contact number, and flags the enquiry as urgent if the caller says it is. It doesn’t diagnose the fault or tell the caller what’s wrong; that stays with you. If someone describes a life-threatening emergency, Remy tells them to hang up and call 999.
Can Remy handle booking requests for domestic and commercial work?
Yes, for the services listed in your Knowledge Base — and only those, so the work you don’t take is never offered on your behalf. Once a caller gives a day and time, Remy checks it against your business hours and availability, offers alternatives if that slot is taken, and submits a booking request after the call. The customer receives a confirmation email once the booking is actually made, and it appears in your dashboard — and in Google Calendar when your calendar is connected. If a caller asks for something you don’t list, Remy takes the details and passes the request to you rather than confirming it.
Can I control what Remy tells customers?
Yes. Remy answers from your Knowledge Base — your services, prices, opening hours, policies, FAQs and any custom instructions — which you can edit at any time. It never invents an answer.
What happens if Remy cannot answer something?
It politely takes the customer’s details, saves the enquiry as a lead marked for your review and notifies you, so you can follow up. The customer is told someone from the business will get back to them.
Can Remy handle calls outside normal hours?
Yes — the Monday-morning call about a unit with no power comes in before you’ve opened the van. Remy answers whenever the call comes in, day or night. The appointment times it offers respect the business hours you set, and any after-hours enquiry is waiting in your dashboard and your summary email. Remy doesn’t transfer live calls and doesn’t promise a response time — it tells the caller the team will be in touch as quickly as possible.
Do I need to change my existing business phone number?
No. Remy answers on a dedicated number set up for your business. You can give that number out directly, or keep your existing number and divert calls to it using your phone provider’s call forwarding — whichever suits how your business already works.
